It was a sunny Friday morning when I got to meet sweet baby Claire down at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital! Her dad had been texting me since the night before, so I was expecting to head over first thing the morning! I woke up early and, sure enough, I had the text that I could come by!
When I arrived at the hospital, I was lead by the nurse down to the very room I had given birth to my youngest daughter in only 8 months earlier! I was teary eyed and emotional walking in to meet Claire, the sweetest, most adorable little sweetheart, and had to explain to everyone why I was crying!
After snuggling Claire and taking most of the photos, Kayla’s family stopped by to meet the newest family member. Grandma and Grandpa were so excited to meet her and hear her name for the first time, and her cousin was enthralled with her!
Thank you so much, David and Kayla, for inviting me into such a miraculous, important life event! I was beyond thrilled to capture Claire’s first few hours!
