It’s finally happened! After over a year of contemplation, research and hard work, we are no longer Dandelion Kisses Photography, but now Charissa Froese Photography! I thought I should share with you all my reasoning for making the switch, as well as some photos of our new packaging for our Wedding Collections!
First of all, one of the main reasons for making the switch is name recognition. I think its pretty clear to say my name is Charissa Froese, and now people will know that and know who to expect showing up to their session! While Dandelion Kisses Photography already has a reputation in the area, which, to jump a little off track always surprises me how much I hear of other people talking out my work, I know that will transfer over to our new name smoothly!
The second reason for the new name is an all around face-lift of our brand! Dandelion Kisses was fun and cute, but I am hoping the new brand conveys class, timelessness, love, as well as fun and the importance of family! I’ve done lots of research on the brand I want to convey and the clients I want to reach, and I’ve realized I need to be myself and show you all glimpses of me and my life through my brand. A couple of the things I care deeply about are supporting local businesses, and of course family and the importance of printing and displaying your photos. I can’t even tell you how many photos and canvases I have up on my own walls! It was one of the first and most important things on my to-do list when we moved into our first house last November, and, much to my excitement, my husband, Dwayne, told me the walls still looked a little bare and I should buy more photo frames!! What a glorious day that was for me! It also proved to me that printing and displaying photos isn’t just a big deal to me, but my husband and family appreciate it as well.
Finally, who doesn’t love buying new things with your name on them? I am so excited about my stickers, business cards, but especially my new USBs; the mailman has been my best friend for the past couple of months! I can’t wait for my wedding clients to open their boxes and see all the love and care that went into each one!
